Tim Kilham, Director, Lanyon Partners
Tim is an accomplished chief financial officer, accountant and business partner with a significant track record in providing strategic and practical business advice that has delivered sustained growth and profitability. He is currently a director of the accounting division at Lanyon Partners, based in Burke Road Camberwell,
Tim’s speciality is providing pro-active advice to small businesses. He is particularly interested in franchising and has advised many franchisors and franchisees on the purchase and set up of franchise businesses. He is the author of numerous articles and has presented on the topic of franchising. He has also served on the board of the Victorian Chapter of the Franchise Council of Australia several times.
Tim provides strategic, management and taxation, and where necessary, survival, advice to many small businesses, franchised or otherwise. He prides himself in having helped, in conjunction with the business owners, many small businesses to achieve their potential.
John Houlihan, Director, Strategy Delivery Partners
John is the owner of Strategy Delivery Partners, a boutique consulting firm specialising in the art and science of strategy execution.
He has 20+ years’ experience in strategy execution, lean thinking, performance improvement and financial management roles for blue chip manufacturing, FMCG, resources and services companies including Pacific Brands Ltd, Toyota Motor Corporation, Bonlac Foods Ltd, Tabcorp Ltd, Comalco Aluminium Ltd and Price Waterhouse.
At Toyota, John led the design, implementation and management of a ‘whole of company’ strategy management system applying to 700 executive staff, over a five year period.
John has consistently worked with Board and C-level executives and their management teams to create clear corporate goals, long term objectives, supporting KPIs and action plans, combining the Balanced Scorecard method with Toyota’s best practice processes for continuous improvement, problem solving and people development.
Gary Ziebarth, Senior Financial Planner, Westpac Banking Corporation
Gary has been working in financial markets since 1992 and have worked with Westpac since 2003. He has obtained diplomas in financial markets and financial planning and holds a masters degree in financial planning. He is currently, completing a MBA at Deakin University and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) which is the Financial Planning Association’s (FPA) highest professional designation and is recognised world-wide.
Within Westpac, Gary provides ongoing management to a total portfolio value in excess of $60 million of client funds. This involves delivering long-term successful strategies thus enhancing the long term wealth prospects of the clients – ensuring that they and their families are financially protected in the event of adverse circumstances. He guides them in funding major life events and in achieving a comfortable retirement by developing strategies and conducting regular review and maintenance.
