Join this interactive and informative session to find out how you can use LinkedIn for your career or business at the Melbourne City Library (not the State Library) Meeting Room 1, 253 Flinders Lane, Melbourne, Victoria, 3000 on Saturday 25 July 2026 from 11am – 1pm.
Sue Ellson joined LinkedIn in 2003, started consulting on it in 2008 and has published two books on it in 2016 and 2023. This workshop includes a paperback and digital edition of her book ‘LinkedIn for me and my career or business’ – a Finalist in the Australian Career Book Award.
If you haven’t already, please create your LinkedIn account before the workshop and make sure you know your login password (not just the auto-signin on your device).
Please bring your fully charged laptop (not tablet) and mobile phone (with the LinkedIn App installed and signed in).
In the session, Sue will go through the ‘Setup, Shine and Surprise’ methodology which includes:
- doing two backups
- collecting your statistics
- adjusting the most valuable settings
- editing the most important sections
- understanding what else to include after the workshop
- developing your own engagement strategy
- developing your own content strategy
- developing your own networking strategy
