Notable Achievements 2024 - Now
ART – On 16 January 2026, an excerpt from the Death Poem was transcribed into handwritten calligraphy by Heather McGowan, a past student from the Melbourne based Centre for Adult Education and a recent workshop participant.
BOOK – On 16 October 2025, I was contacted by Heather Yaxley PhD in Salisbury UK as she is the co-author of ‘Public Affairs Management: A guide to professional practice‘ with Dr Sarah Bowman in Newcastle Upon Tyne, England, United Kingdom from Northumbria University. Dr Bowman found the Conversation Poem online and the publisher, Routledge asked to include an extract from the poem in the Conclusion of the book that will be published in 2026.
BOOK – On 5 July 2025, Wonwoo (Grace) Lee published an anthology of 40 poems and short stories in a book called ‘Still, She Writes: 40 Poems and Short Stories by Women Who Survived Domestic or Sexual Abuse‘ and included the Domestic Violence Poem and the After Separation Poem in it.
ART – On 20 June 2025, the Heart Poem was written on a piece of red pottery crafted by Wendy Winter in the USA and shared in an Instagram Post
ART – On 3 February 2025, the Agony Poem was included in a digital poster by Graphic Designer Ashutosh Shukla in his 10 posters in 10 days series and shared as a Story on Instagram.
MUSIC – On 26 January 2025, I was contacted by composer / arranger Jeremy Landig in Chicago, USA for the Beyond Poem to be used as part of the text of a work for a secondary school choir. You can listen to the first demo score on YouTube
ART – On 17 June 2024, the Heart Poem was added to a piece of artwork by Jennifer Corkish called ‘My Heart’ and it was included in the One Red Thread Textile Art Prize (stitch art challenge and exhibition)
