How many Connections and Followers do you have on LinkedIn?

Are you approaching the 30,000 maximum of Connections?

You can have an unlimited number of Followers.

And how do you change the Connect button to a Follow button?

To see how many people are in your network, click on My Network, click on Manage My Network and Connections is at the top of the list.

To see the number of Followers, click on Following and Followers.

Click on Followers and that number can be unlimited.

To change your button from Connect to Follow, click on Me, click on Settings and Privacy, Click on Visibility, Scroll down to Followers and Slide the button across.

Thanks and bye for now.

How many Connections and Followers do you have on LinkedIn? By Sue Ellson

For the record, I accept most Connection requests for people based in Australia and for people with a similar profession or industry based overseas, provided I am confident they are not a spammer! I classify this as my ‘Connection Strategy.’

I also recommend that you aim for a minimum of 60 Connections and then stive for 500+.

I also recommend that you aim for more Followers than Connections.

I also recommend changing from a Connect button to a Follow button when you are approaching 30,000 Connections.

LinkedIn will periodically clear ‘false’ accounts so your number of Connections or Followers may suddenly change without warning.

At the time of this recording on 1 October 2024, I had 25,363 Connections and 29,204 Followers collected since 21 December 2003.
