2026 RECOGNITION // The Career Development Association of Australia (CDAA) called upon members of the community to nominate individuals for ‘Celebrating our Community’ 2026 Recognitions during National Careers Week 11 – 17 May 2026.

I was very fortunate to be acknowledged by Celeste Tramonte from Total Mindset Coaching – thank you Celeste!

I am delighted to nominate Sue Ellson for National Careers Week 2026. Sue has supported individuals and businesses for many years through career guidance, training, speaking and one-to-one consulting, an unwavering belief in people’s potential and generously dedicating her time and expertise to improving the job search experience. Sue is also a long-standing member of the Career Development Association of Australia and has actively contributed multiple presentations and resources to the profession and professional development of colleagues free of charge.

What makes Sue’s impact so powerful is her presence and expertise reaching people through LinkedIn and the business community, and her work helping people navigate career transition and build professional identity. Strategies she freely shares to effectively and practically use platforms like LinkedIn for work, brand presence and voice creates real opportunities that might otherwise remain hidden.

One moment that captures Sue’s character is a testimonial from a professional migrant who sought her help to re-enter engineering work in Melbourne. After Sue’s guidance on strategy, profile improvement and job search actions, that client secured the role they wanted within three months.
