How do you export a full list of your LinkedIn Connections?
LINKEDIN CONNECTIONS // How do you export a full list of your LinkedIn Connections? 🤔
Firstly, you need to be signed into LinkedIn on your laptop or desktop device, not your phone or tablet.
It doesn’t work there.
On the top right hand side click on me, click on Settings and Privacy.
On the left click Data Privacy and in the middle click Download your Data. ⭐
Choose the top box, Download Larger Data Archive and press the blue Request Archive button.
LinkedIn will then send you an e-mail shortly after with the first installment of your data archive, and you need to click on that link and download it to your device.
One or two days later, you will receive another e-mail from LinkedIn saying your full LinkedIn data archive is ready.
Again, click on the link and download that file.
Now when you have both of those files, you need to open the Complete LinkedIn Data Export Zip file and one of the files in there will be a Connections File – a CSV file.
When you open that, I’ve erased the details from mine, you will see all of your Connections, their first name, their last name, their LinkedIn URL, their company, where they work, their current position, and the date you connected.
And you will see some e-mail addresses.
Unless people have expressly said that you can download their e-mail address, it will not appear there.
Now, I do recommend that you do this activity at least every six months, in the unlikely event that you lose access to your LinkedIn account or you didn’t follow something on the LinkedIn User Agreement, and also that you abide by any Privacy Policies and definitely do not spam anyone.
Thanks and bye for now.
