LinkedIn serves over five million Australians and Career Development Practitioners are uniquely placed to capitalise on this social media tool for their clients and their own career.

Learning goals:
• Increase your own exposure, reach and clients
• Maximise your clients’ brand, search and view results
• Manage and maintain your career, network and influence
• Identify new opportunities for career development practitioners

Sue Ellson has been working with skilled migrants, expatriates, older workers, younger workers, people in transition and business owners and consultants utilising LinkedIn since 2003. LinkedIn provides online access to over 260 million people worldwide. Sue has now presented to various groups and conferences in Melbourne and Adelaide and had articles related to LinkedIn published on leading websites. During the workshop, Sue will clearly demonstrate how to achieve both your goals and your client’s goals via LinkedIn with clear examples and guidelines. Sue will also make the connection with previous recruitment practices to show how LinkedIn is increasing the number of jobs in the hidden job market, improving opportunities for disadvantaged jobseekers and enabling career development practitioners to build and develop their own businesses.
