➡️I would suggest yes, if you can do it using a work ✉️email address.

So ideally, you should add every email address you’ve ever had to the backend of your LinkedIn account. This will stop someone impersonating you or you accidentally creating a duplicate account.

✅And then once that email address is verified, you can usually verify your account.

Now, if you don’t have that option available, you can’t pay for verification, you would need to use a third-party app called Persona and scan your passport. As a former banker, I don’t recommend that.

If neither of these methods work, just remember that you can look at anyone’s LinkedIn Profile and click on the Resources or the Three Dots or the More button, and you can see About this member and find out when they joined.

So if they joined a while ago [I joined 21 December 2003], it’s a pretty good chance that that’s the person you’re looking at.
