Why should you download your LinkedIn data and how do you do it?

Number one reason, Backup.

In the unlikely event that you lose access to your account, you’ve at least got some record of what you’ve done on LinkedIn.

Number two. Match it to your customer relationship management system or your address book

So that you can keep in touch with all of those people and join the dots.

And number three reason, is to reconnect.

If you download that data and scroll through the list, you might say “Mmm time to reconnect with that person.”

Now, how do you do it?

First of all, click on the Me Menu.

Settings and privacy.

Data privacy.

Get a copy of your data.

Download the larger data archive and Request the archive.

And as soon as you get that email from LinkedIn, click on the link and download that data.

Otherwise you’ll lose access to it.

Thanks and bye for now.
