2024 LinkedIn Rewind By Coauthor Studio
I have seen several 2024 LinkedIn Rewind Images produced by Coauthor Studio on LinkedIn recently and decided to let the AI review my online activity for 2024 and this is what it produced:
Here’s my 2024 LinkedIn Rewind, by Coauthor.studio:
Twenty-one years after joining LinkedIn, 2024 taught me something profound: in an AI-driven world, authentic human expertise isn’t just surviving—it’s thriving.
This year wasn’t about me. It was about helping professionals navigate increasingly complex career landscapes. When AI ranked me among the top LinkedIn specialists globally, I saw it as a responsibility, not an achievement.
Three insights that seemed to resonate most with you:
- Unsuccessful Job Applications: Sometimes rejection isn’t personal. Understanding potential reasons can transform future opportunities. Remember: “Sometimes, there are no reasons why and nothing you could have done that would have changed the outcome.” Full insights here: https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7244589010440912897
- Strategic Career Changes: Your career isn’t a straight line—it’s a journey of strategic pivots. “Have you been secretly harbouring a desire to change your career or work for a while now?” Explore how strategic thinking can unlock new paths: https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7152106410921627648
- Interview Mastery: Transforming challenging interview experiences into growth opportunities. As I shared, “It is really difficult when you attend a job or promotion interview and miss out – especially if it was a job that you really wanted.” Practical strategies here: https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7249261526778314754
Some highlights that kept me inspired:
- Ranked among global LinkedIn specialists by AI analysis
- Multiple national TV appearances discussing workplace dynamics
- Continued monthly newsletters reaching our 34th edition
- Delivered career strategy presentations at Melbourne Career Expo
- Published a series of reflective poems connecting professional insights with personal experience
Looking ahead to 2025: My mission remains helping professionals navigate the intricate intersection of AI and human potential. The most powerful technology amplifies human capability—it never replaces authentic connection.
To everyone feeling uncertain in this rapidly changing professional landscape: Your unique expertise matters more than ever. Stay curious, stay adaptable, and never underestimate the power of genuine human insight.

Personal Reflections
As Coauthor Studio suggests, I was very proud of appearing in the Top 10 AI LinkedIn Specialists Survey conducted by John Espirian even though this post https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:6837729637972496384 only received 33 reactions and 1,513 Impressions. I do see that as recognition for adding a lot of online value on the topic of LinkedIn over a lengthy period of time – and I plan to keep up that responsibility.
I have now appeared on Channel Nine’s Today Extra 20 times and 3AW 693 AM Radio 24 times. Ironically, in September 2024, I decided to focus on producing short form video content on the topic of LinkedIn and have now published 10 LinkedIn Shorts Videos.
Before the end of the year, I will be publishing my 37th monthly newsletter.
I delivered three presentations at the Melbourne Career Expo, for a total of 45 public presentations and many other private presentations during 2024.
This year, a further 15 poems were shared (with a bulk lot in one post during Poetry month).
I am acutely aware that LinkedIn is currently favouring LinkedIn video, but I must say that as a user, I still prefer images and text as I can review a lot more content and information that way. I still aim to connect with everyone I meet, both personally and professionally. I still believe LinkedIn has enormous value and I enjoy helping others with their LinkedIn Strategy and Tactics.
Coauthor Studio Review
Overall, as an AI tool that evaluated my LinkedIn Activity automatically and did not require any input from me, this was a fabulous framework for me to reflect on the ‘year that was’ on LinkedIn.
I could not have provided my analysis without logging in to LinkedIn, checking some details and digging up some of my own Post records (which most people would not keep).
I also think this is a very clever way to let people know about their ongoing SAAS platform offering and for the time poor, this could be very handy! Thank you Coauthor Studio (I was not paid or asked to write this).
