LinkedIn for me and my career or business Book by Sue Ellson

LinkedIn Book by an Australian Author

By Sue Ellson

After joining LinkedIn on 21 December 2003 and consulting on LinkedIn since 2008, I wrote and independently published my first book on the topic of LinkedIn, ‘120 Ways To Achieve Your Purpose With LinkedIn’ in 2016 and in 2023, I have written and independently published my second book (fifth overall) on ‘LinkedIn for me and my career or business.’

My first book was like a first born child, everything I knew up to that point was included and it will always be, to some extent, one of my proudest achievements ever! To put it all together in a coherent format took a huge amount of work, as I didn’t have any pro forma to work with or even a ‘user manual’ of any type.

But as you can imagine, the process was cathartic. Sharing tips that can be used for different purposes gave me plenty of scope to showcase the amazing capabilities of the LinkedIn Platform.

Fast forward to 2023 and a lot has changed.

For a start, there are so many more new features on LinkedIn!

The ability to build a network, find leads, generate sales, maintain relationships and even keep up to date with your own professional development has never been greater.

But now we have features like Events (online, video, lives and audio), Newsletters (I liken them to Articles on steroids) and a much more engaging and interactive Newsfeed. The range of analytics is increasing so you can measure whether or not your LinkedIn activity is leading to greater gains.

But there are a lot of people who still see it as an online resume.

A resource to only use when you want a new job or some quick leads.

I run free monthly webinars for different demographic groups and you are welcome to see me live in action here.

You can check out my newsletters and subscribe if you would like to be kept up to date with changes that are occurring.

But if you would like the step by step guide to give yourself a gold star LinkedIn Profile and Page, I really recommend that you buy my fifth book ‘LinkedIn for me and my career or business‘!
