The Mind – My First Haiku Poem

The Mind – My First Haiku Poem

By Sue Ellson

(My first Haiku – a three line verse with 5, 7, 5 syllable format – thanks to author and writer Mark Feigan for introducing me to this format)

Meandering thought
Driven by intent, hoping
Blissful solace next

When I was introduced to the concept of a structured poem, I considered it to be a type of mind exercise, hence the reason for distilling my thoughts at the time into this piece. I was actually in a very happy frame of mind and full of optimism about my personal future. I have now written one on The Body and The Soul. With love, Sue Ellson 🙂
