5. New LinkedIn Features
a. Custom Action – if you click on the pen on the top right hand side of your LinkedIn Profile directly underneath your banner image, you can now add a ‘Custom Action’ to your LinkedIn Profile.
b. LinkedIn AI Powered Assistant for Headline and About Section – this is a Beta feature that is being tested. I used both the Headline and About (Summary) Section tools and to be honest, I prefer my own suggestions as they are aligned with your purpose but this tool could be a good starting point if you are unsure where to start.
c. Notifications – Have you been receiving more emails than you would like from LinkedIn? Can I suggest that you take a moment to turn off the email Notifications for the updates you do not want to receive? You can do this via https://www.linkedin.com/mypreferences/d/categories/notifications.
Once you select the item, you can then turn OFF the email notification.

7. Musing
Music. How do you select the music you listen to? Do you automatically listen to the same radio station, saved playlist or algorithm selected list on YouTube, Apple Music or Spotify? Do you drag out your records, cassette tapes, compact discs or MP3 player? Whilst so much of what I do is word centric, how would the audio track of my life sound? I remember when I went without a car for six months and when I got a new one, I realised how much music had vanished from my life during that time. The simple pleasures of life are so easy to miss…
